Success Story: Approval of Form I-130 and an AoS for a Dutch National

Our client, a Dutch national, requested our firm’s help with a Form I-130, Petition for an Alien Relative, and an Adjustment of Status (AoS) to permanently move to Oregon with his U.S. citizen wife. Our client was married to his wife before traveling to the U.S.. He legally entered the U.S. on an ESTA. ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) is a pre-travel screening system required by the United States for visitors travelling under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). It is not a visa, it’s an electronic authorization linked to your passport allowing foreign nationals to stay in the U.S. up to 90 days.

After a couple of months vacationing in the U.S. our client decided he wanted to stay there with his wife. Our firm was able to file an I-130 and an AoS to obtain his green card. Our client’s status was able to change from a travel visa to an immigrant status, to finally obtaining his green card. We want to extend a huge congratulations to our client and his wife, who are happily living in Oregon.

At Blue Lake Law, we have experience guiding clients through the I-130 and AoS  process with USCIS. We understand how critical speed and precision are to your case.

We’ll help you determine your eligibility, gather the required documentation, and navigate the fee payment process, ensuring that your petition is submitted correctly and efficiently.
